The short version: Be 13 or older. Don't be a jerk to other users. Don't try to break or scrape our service. We can suspend accounts that abuse the rules. Offseason is provided as-is. We'll do our best, but we can't guarantee perfect uptime or that any given tournament will go the way you predict.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Offseason mobile app, the offseason.org website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Offseason ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Offseason. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and agreed to them on your behalf.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet the age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms in the country where you live.
To use most features of Offseason, you'll need to create an account. When you sign up, you agree to:
You may have only one account at a time. Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage in any league is grounds for termination.
When you use Offseason, you agree NOT to:
Offseason is meant to be a fun, friendly competition between people who actually like each other. Don't ruin it.
"User Content" means anything you create or share through Offseason: your username, profile emoji, league names, picks, and any other text or media you provide.
You own your content. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it within the Service for the purpose of running Offseason. We don't claim ownership and we don't use your content for training models, marketing, or anything else outside the Service.
You are responsible for the content you post. We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to remove content that violates these Terms.
Offseason, including the app, website, name, logo, design, and all original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Offseason and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
Offseason is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sports league, governing body, federation, or rights holder of any tournament we host pick'em competitions for. For World Cup 2026 specifically, this includes FIFA, any national football federation, and any other rights holder of the FIFA World Cup. Team names, country flags, league names, venue names, and other tournament references are used for editorial reference under fair use.
You may delete your account at any time from inside the app or by emailing support@offseason.org. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, are abusing the Service, or are putting other users at risk.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Liability) will continue to apply after your account is closed.
Offseason is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of match data, rankings, kickoff times, or any other information about the tournaments we host pick'ems for. We do our best to keep it correct, but we are not the source of truth for any tournament itself.
Offseason is a free game of skill and prediction. It is not gambling, betting, or a paid contest. No money changes hands through the Service, and we do not facilitate, encourage, or endorse betting on any matches or events we host pick'ems for.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Offseason and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months, which, since Offseason is free to play, is zero.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you don't agree to the changes, please stop using the Service and delete your account.
